Benefits of Juicing

     Taking steps towards having healthier skin and a healthier body can depend on what you put in your body just as much as what you put on your skin. A balanced diet full of vegetables and fruits as well as eliminating toxins can be your first step towards healthier glowing skin, stronger nails, and lustrous hair. 

     For most of us, eating fruits and vegetables isn't the first thing we think of when our stomach tells us we are hungry. As well as, it might not be the best tasting snack or meal to some people.  Well. if that's the case, try juicing them instead.  Juicing allows the body to absorb the nutrients and minerals in a quick and concentrated way that can be a little easier on the taste buds.  We always recommend juicing organic fruits and vegetables.

Studies have shown that nutrients like flavonoids and anthocyanins can help prevent oxidative cellular damage. These two ingredients are plentiful in various fruits and vegetables.

The beta-carotene of veggies like carrots and cabbages can help to boost skin collagen. Collagen helps maintaining skin elasticity and prevents aging effects like wrinkles and fine lines.

  1. Refreshing Cucumber Juice

Ingredients:

Peeled and grated cucumber half cup

Lemon juice 1/4 cup

a few mint leaves

 

Pour all the ingredients in the blender and mix 2 glass of water.  Now blend and drink the fresh juice.

  1. Carrot Juice

Ingredients:

Half cup finely chopped carrot

1-1/2 glass of water

1/2 tablespoon of ginger

 

Mix all the ingredients with water (optional). Blend well. To make it chilly, mix some ice cubes while blending the juice. 

  1. Tomato Juice

Ingredients:

1 chopped tomato

1 glass of water

2 ice cubes

Sugar and pinch of salt

A pinch of black pepper

 

Like previously, mix all the ingredients and blend well. Add a little bit of black pepper to enhance the taste.

  1. Veggie cabbage juice

Ingredients:

1 finely chopped cabbage leaf

1/4 of finely chopped carrot

1/2 tablespoon of ginger

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

 

Mix the ingredients to your taste. Mix a pinch of salt. black pepper, or sugar (optional)  if you need a bit to change the taste.

  1. All berry juice

Take half a cup of strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries. Add 1-1/2 glasses of water and 2 ice cubes. Blend well and drink fresh juice to get the best benefits. 

Some quick tips: 

  1. Use a high quality juicer
  2. Always wash the ingredients properly. 
  3. Do not keep juice more than 24 hours in refrigerators. Try to drink when its freshly made.
